Who We Are

BIJOY YOUTH GROUP – BYG LTD is a not-for-profit charitable company limited by guarantee (Company No. 16646329). We are based at 191 Roman Road, London, E2 0QY, and exist to serve our community by advancing education, preserving cultural identity, and supporting wellbeing.

Our Charitable Objects

Clear and focused on public benefit
  • Advancing education through tutoring, mentoring, mother tongue classes, and digital skills.
  • Promoting community development and citizenship through volunteering, social activities, and outdoor programmes.
  • Advancing religion by offering prayer classes, faith workshops, and opportunities for interfaith dialogue.
  • Promoting health and wellbeing through exercise, outdoor clubs, and awareness activities.
  • Relieving poverty and hardship by offering advice, guidance, and practical support to disadvantaged people.

Services

We provide a range of activities for children, young people, and adults.
  • Our educational support services include homework clubs, study groups, exam preparation, mentoring, and digital literacy training.
  • Our mother tongue programme offers Bengali language classes alongside lessons in cultural heritage, history, and traditions.
  • For adults, we run outdoor and wellbeing activities such as walking clubs, fitness sessions, and lifelong learning opportunities.
  • We also deliver faith and religious services, with classes on how to pray, study sessions on values, and interfaith dialogue designed to build respect and understanding.
